She's a conure and was supposed to be a mix of a Sun and Janday but we believe she is all sun!

We call Trix our "first bird." Although we have had parakeets (budgies) and Finches -- Trix was our first real parrot.
Trix is the the most aggressive bird in our menagerie. She is very protective of her "family" (Jim & me) and is known to draw blood at anyone who dares challenge her.
Her diet consists of meat, seeds and fruits and vegetables. Her favorite foods are frosted mini-wheats, almonds and apples.
