Dr. Elisha Huntington, formerly Lieutenant Governor of this State, and several times Mayor of Lowell, died Wednesday evening in that city after a few days illness. His age is about 69 years.

BROOKFIELD - Cyril Morean of Brookfield was killed by a railroad collision on the 13th instant at Georgia, Vt. The train on which he was a passenger became disabled, and signals were sent back to stop and expres freight train but the slippery track, down grade, and heavy train prevented the engineer from stopping his train before hitting the passenger train. Mr. Morean was the only person injured.

An Indian skeleton of extraordinary size was found in making an excavation in Hartford, Tuesday.

BODY IDENTIFIED - The Boston Journal states that the body of a murdered man found near Cambridge Crossing some three weeks since, has been identified by his friends as that of Mr. Amos Snow of Spencer, where he leaves a wife and five or six children. He left his home three days before the murder, and left an eating room in South Market street, Boston, in campany with a dark complected foreign sailor only the day before.

POLICE COURT
Theodore Barry, for larceny of a horse, carriage and harness, from Rockwell Jacobs Nov. 13th, was bound over to the Supreme Court in $400, and committed for want of bail.
Collins McCalder, Chas. Paul, Wm Stamp, Charles Harris alias Knight, and John Carver, for being drunk, were each fines $1 and costs.
John toole for vagrancy, was sent over for two months.

To the heirs at law, next of kin, and all other persons interested in the Estate of Nancy Nichols, late of Worcester, in said county, deceased,
Upon the petitiion of William H. Walker you are hereby cited to appear at a Probate Court, to be held at Worcester, in said County on the first Tuesday of January next, at nine o'clock inthe forenoon, to show cause, if any you have, why an instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of said deceased should not be approved.
And the said Walker is ordered to serve this citation, by publishing the same once a week, three weeks succesively in the Worcester Daily Transcript, a newspaper printed at Worcester, the last publication to be one day at least, before said court, and to send or cause to be sent, a written or printed copy of this notice, properly mailed, postage prepaid, to each of the heirs, devisees, or legatees of said estate, of their legal representatives, known to the petitoner, seven days at least before said Court.
