A tribute of respect is due to departed worth; she was an affectionate wife, a tender mother, a sincere friend, and a pious christian; her breast was pecularily the residence of the soft and bland affections, and the distressed partook of her compassion and bounty. She early entered the list of those benevolent females who composed the Asylum. In her last sickness, whcih was very distressing, she would often cry out, "Oh Lord How Long ere you release me from this great pain and sore affliction,", until at last her strength failed, and nature being exhausted, she fell asleep in the arms of her Redeemer, went to rest, and is happy. She has left a disconsolate husband, and three young children, and many friends and connexions, to lament her loss.
Drowned - At sea, ROBERT, son of the late Mr. William WILLIAMS, of this town, aet 19. A promising young man.
In Amesbury, Mr. SAMUEL BADGER, aet 36.
