Police Court Judge Albert C. Bill and Mrs,. Bill were rejoiced by the birth of a son Saturday morning.
Judge Coe of Meriden, and Mrs. Coe, formerly, Miss Kate Foote, sail next Saturday for the West Indies to spend the winter.
The second of Mrs. Charles Dudley Warner's two receptions for her neice, Miss Margaret Warner, took place Saturday afternoon at her home in Forest street.
William H. Blodgett, who has been a clerk in the patent office at Washington , has resigned to enter the employ of Francis H. Richards, the patent lawyer of this city.
Town clerk John E. Higgins was at his desk Saturday for the firstg time in several weeks. He has been to New York for the purpose of undergoing treatment, but conditions were unfavorable and he was obliged to abandon his purpose.
