Consumption carries off One of the Rome Boy Train Wreckers
Utica, N.Y. - Feb. 28. -- Fred Bristol, one of the four boys indicted Wednesday for murder in the first degree for causing the deaths of two men by wrecking a New york Central train near Rome, died of consumption at the jail in this city yesterday afternoon.

Horribly mangled and killed
Corry, Pa., Feb. 28. -- By the bursting of a batting saw in the pail factory yesterday afternoon, Fred Moffit, 27 years of age, was horribly mangled and killed.

Miss Trowbridge Dead
Daughter of Well-known New Haven Family

New Haven Feb. 28. -- A cablegram was received today announcing the death at Florence, Italy, of Miss Edith Trowbridge, aged 26. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Trowbridge of this city, one of the best known families in the state.
Miss Trowbridge was an enthusiastic art student, studying in Italy. She was stricken a few days ago with the Roman fever. She was a graduate of Miss Porter's School at Farmington, Conn.

Runaway Boy Arrested
Poughkeepsie, N.Y,, Feb. 28 -- Ralph Weeks, 16 years old, son of a Chicago millionaire, was arrested here yesterday afternoon on a telegram from Inspector Fitzpatrick of that city. The boy was traveling with a car of stock, and said he was going to Europe. He will be held here to await the arrival of an officer from Chicago, who will return him to his home.

WOOD CHOPPERS SUSPECTED
Timothy Parmalee Who Was Murdered Buried By Coroner

Middletown, Feb. 28. -- Coroner Davis turned over to the selectmen the body ot Timothy Parmalee, who was murdered at Cobalt, and the remains buried at 3 o'clock.
Coroner Davis stated that footprints had been found about the house. The coronoer was inclined to the belief that the deed had been committed by wood choppers, as the footprints led towards the woods, and additional evidence in that direction has been discovered.
The affair is shrouded in mustery. The dead man owned between fifty and sixty acres near his home; though he was not known to have money in any large amount.

Killed by the Train

Willimantic, Feb. 28. -- C. L. Barder, aged 71 years, of West Chester, was struck and killed by a work train at North Westchester this morning. He was walking on the tracks and was very deaf.

Attempted Suicide

Providence, R.I., Feb. 28, -- Martin J. Cunningham, aged 28, of West Providence, is at the hospital in a most precarious condition from two self-inflicted razor wounds in the throat. No reason for the act is known.
