Zotique married Hermine Gauthier, daughter of Louis-Xavier Gauthier and Domitilde Desautels, on 6 Aug 1889 in Killingly, Windham, CT. Hermine was born 19 Apr 1871 in Clarence Creek, Quebec, Canada. She died 29 Oct 1925 in Brooklyn, Windham, CT.

The funeral of Mrs. HErmine Thomas, wife of Zotique Thomas, eas held from her home on the West Side Saturday morning, with service at St. James Church. Rev. F.X. Richards, M S., Rev. James McCarthy, M.S., and Rev. Joseph Deschaux, M.S., were the officers of the solem Mass of requiem. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery, the committal service being conducted by Rev. Fr. McCarthy. A delegation from the Ste Anne Society, of which Mrs. Thomas was a member, attended the funeral. Arrangements were in chatge of L.E. Kennedy.
Mrs. Thomas died last Thursday morning at her house. She was 54 years of age and had resided here for many years. She leaves her husband and eight children; Mrs. Joseph Bernier, Wilfred, Joseph, Amie, Yvonne, Malcolm, Valmore and Helen.
